I'm not a modder, so i don't know how much work this would be, but try to add some noise to the road surface. Try to reduce some of the extreme elevation changes (or add polygons to the road surface to make the transitions smoother), because they can easily make the cars fly and then fall through the ground Put the whole city on an island landscape or some mountains in the distance, the borders of the city aren't pretty and you can easily fall from down into the pit of bottomness I tested it with the Oculus Rift DK2 and the scale and atmosphere are very good. The graphics are not too great (could use some more details), has visual holes, the road surface feels weirdly smooth and the San Francisco like elevation changes are too low poly and a bit too much for Assetto Corsas physics engine (car dropped through the road sometimes).īut i really, really like this! The idea is awesome and this as a first version of the track is really nice. It's going to be a lot of work, but you'll get those roads smoothed out and the holes/gaps filled in no time.
